The Hills Golf Course is 18-hole and is regarded one of New Zealand's most exclusive golf courses, situated just outside of Arrowtown. The Hills have hosted the NZ Open many times. 

Millbrook Resort is a 36-hole golf course and offers something for everyone including driving range, pro-golf shop and day Spa.

Millbrook Resort has also hosted the NZ Golf Open. 

This historic 18-hole Golf Course requires extreme accuracy and doesn't require long hitting. The course has some "quirky" holes set amongst the rocky schist outcrops and Alpine views.

Jacks Point Golf Club is nestled alongside the shores of Lake Wakatipu underneath the Remarkables mountain range. This 18-hole golf course includes a GPS-enabled electric golf cart. 

Once voted the most scenic golf course in New Zealand, the Kelvin Heights course is surrounded by Lake Wakatipu. There is the option to play either 9 holes or 18 holes.

Frankton Golf course is a relaxed family-friendly 9-hole course with a driving range next to the Queenstown Airport. This a short and flat course making it accessibly to everyone with stunning views of the Remarkables mountain range.

Gibbston Valley Golf Course is the newest golf destination. This 9-hole course was opened in March 2026 and designed by Kiwi golf professional Greg Turner. 

 The Cromwell Golf Course is widely celebrated as New Zealand’s most inland links course. Located in the heart of Central Otago alongside Lake Dunstan, this 18-hole  is situated further from the ocean than any other course in the country 

Kingston Golf Club offers a scenic, budget-friendly 9-hole golf course featuring alternative tees to complete a full 18-hole round. It is highly regarded by visitors as a relaxed, unpretentious spot ideal for social golfers. 

 The Wanaka Golf Club is a premier 18-hole golf course, renowned for its pristine maintenance and spectacular dual alpine views. The course treats players to elevated views of Lake Wānaka on the front nine, transitioning into a parkland-style back nine 

 The Dunstan Golf Club is a highly rated, scenic course located in the historic town of Clyde in Central Otago. Known locally as a hidden gem, it features a beautifully maintained layout with views of the surrounding rocky schist landscape. . 

 The Lake Hawea Golf Course and Club is a scenic, well-regarded 9-hole golf course offering an accessible and relaxed golfing experience.

 The Omakau Golf Club is a scenic, well-maintained 9-hole country golf course nestled in the heart of Central Otago. Bordered on one side by the famous Otago Central Rail Trail, it is known as a local "hidden gem" that offers panoramic views of schist rock outcrops and rolling countryside
